Volunteer

Through our volunteers we are able to generate donations and run programs that improve student opportunties. Our two major volunteer fundraising activities are:

Birdies for Children

The Birdies for Children charities true mission is giving back to the children of our community. While the Honda Classic PGA Tour tournament strives to provide Palm Beach County with a premier professional sporting event, the ultimate goal is to positively impact youth in need and create a brighter future for our community. The Honda Classic provides donors with a chance to win a new Honda automobile, while at the same time, the charities benefit from the proceeds plus a 10% matching contribution courtesy of The Honda Classic. Dwyer Academy of Finance provides volunteers for the tournament and fundraising efforts and the tournament provides our program with an in-kind donation.

Sunfest

The Academy of Finance volunteers at Sunfest music and art festival in West Palm Beach. By working one of the soda and water trucks the program receives financial contributions from the event.
